Ignition is a SCADA, MES, and Industrial IoT platform built on a web-based, modular architecture. Unlike traditional SCADA systems, which are typically licensed per tag, per client, or per screen, Ignition uses an unlimited licensing model: one server license covers unlimited tags, unlimited clients, and unlimited screens. Clients launch in a standard web browser rather than requiring dedicated runtime software installed on every device.
